Web Entry FAQs
Where do I find the numbers on a ticket to enter?
For non-winning scratch-off tickets, the TICKET NUMBER is located on the BACK of the instant ticket. It contains 13 digits separated by dashes XXX-XXXXXX-XXX-X). The ENTRY NUMBER is located under the scratch-off covering on the FRONT of the instant ticket. It contains 13 digits and five of the digits will have a line under them.
Is there a limit on how many tickets may be entered?
There is no ticket entry limit; however, there is a Point Accumulation Cap of no more than 5,000 points per calendar month. Once a player enters enough tickets to earn 5,000 points, then entries will no longer receive points. Tickets may continue to be entered for any promotions, but points will not be earned. Entries will again receive points when the next calendar month begins. Draw game numbers are printed on the front of the ticket.
Why did the Lottery set limits on 2nd Chance submissions?
We see this as levelling the playing field. Every day we do what we can to ensure the integrity of all our games, including 2nd Chance. But some players have an unfair advantage when they enter thousands of codes on a variety of games. That means they have the upper hand and that's unfair to everybody else. The high number of tickets entered our 2nd Chance Program could also be an indication of problem gambling. As good corporate citizens, we have an innate responsibility to reach out to our valued players who may have a gambling problem and capping the number of entries is a step in the right direction. We should also remind anybody who thinks they have a gambling problem, or who knows somebody with a gambling problem to call the Problem Gambling hotline at 1-800-GAMBLER.
When you say 1,000 limits, is that per game? Can I enter 1,000 codes for Draw game - 2nd Chance and 1,000 Scratchers 2nd Chance codes? No. The limit applies to a combined total of all submissions - whether it's all draw game - 2nd Chance, all Scratchers 2nd Chance or a combination of both. Every code you submit counts toward your monthly limit of 1,000.
How will I know how many ticket codes I've already submitted?
Your lottery account shows you, real time, how many codes you've entered for the month, so you'll be able to know when you're getting close to the limit. The system will stop you from submitting more than 1,000 codes during the month.
